This is the Chatsworth Reservoir located in the north San Fernando Valley.
When I was younger I used to play here quite a bit. Fenced off to the public there is a small lake within the boundary surrounded by that white concrete dam. Within the panorama you can see Woolsey Canyon and Box Canyon as well as the Chatsworth Mountains. The mountains are exceptionally fun to hike and adventure on. One of my favorite things to do when hiking these mountains was to rock jump my way down from high points.
